What: War Chest hits the table for one of the first ever tournaments in real life. A game of War Chest at your buddies house is fun, a game online can be competitive, a tournament game however brings a whole new level of play to the table. There are trophies for the winners and coin racks for everyone that joins. This year every competitor that completes a tournament will receive a pair of coin racks, one Raven one Wolf with this year’s date to show you were there. Finish both the solo and teams tournament and you will receive a full set! These are exclusive so any extras will be destroyed so no one else will have coin racks quite like yours.
How: Each win will bring you closer to the final table. With 16 competitors in the solo tournament there will be four rounds to bring an undefeated champion to light. The teams tournament will bring eight teams together to battle it out over three rounds to determine the two players that have the skills to work together for victory. There will be no draws. Every game will finish so please use integrity and honor in your battles, do not attempt to “run out the clock".
Why: With such an incredible piece of work it was hard to resist the temptation of the game. This group and website started with Dune but grew to more. Our love for area control games span beyond lengthy six player experiences that take all day, here is a quick game that can give a similar thrill and excitement as an epic such as Dune. Every game and give away is completely and 100% funded by key members of the Landsraad, this year we start small and next year we expand after we have a good grasp of the tournament setting.
