Meepleville Meetups

Where: Meeplevile 4704 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102

When: Every Wednesday around 6pm

What: This is a weekly event that happens as long as the shop is open for business. There is an oversized board that is set up and ready to go with a dedicated teacher standing by for all new players. Whether you are brand new to the game, played a few times, or played a lot this event is excellent for all Duners. There is usually two separate tables of Dune going on at the same time, one for newer players and one for more experienced players.

How: With a solid core of about a dozen Duners there are enough players standing by to welcome the newbies. We prioritize the basic table making sure it is filled so that there can be a nice six player experience for the first timers. The veteran players do not mercilessly stomp the new players into the dirt rather, they make sure the new players are having fun and understanding what is happening and how the game is played.

Why: Our passion for the game goes beyond playing it religiously (we play every Saturday too!). Our group enjoys teaching others and sharing the gift of Dune. Being the greatest board game of all time we took it upon ourselves to spread the gospel. We also host a tournament at Dice Tower West where all of this playing and practicing can be put to the test.
